Product Overview
1944 solves one problem that compound hunters talk about constantly and product photos never show: the walk in is where bows get hurt. Limb tips knock on saplings, cams grind against a treestand rail, strings pick up burrs.
This is a U-shaped wrapper, not a case. It folds around the riser, limbs and strings from one end cap to the other, then two quick-release buckles draw the caps snug over the limb tips. 98 x 15 cm, 0.27 kg, and it rolls into its own bundle when the bow comes off at the tree.
Shell is a 3-layer laminate in Prym1 camo: brushed tricot face for silence, TPU membrane behind it, 300D ripstop at the back. Inside is brushed fleece, so nothing hard touches the finish on the way in.
Four Parts, Four Ways to Lose a Season
A compound bow has four exposed surfaces that fail quietly. The slicker covers all four in one wrap.
01 Riser and grip. The widest, most knocked-about section. The U body wraps it without a zipper track running down the side.
02 Limbs. Solid end caps take the impact when the bow leans against a tree or rides in a truck bed.
03 Cams and string track. The caps sit over the cam housings; grit and twigs stay out of the string groove.
04 Sights and string. The elastic-bound U channel closes around the working side of the bow, so a stabiliser or sight does not have to come off first.

Getting Up a Tree With One Hand
Climbing sticks, a haul line and a bow do not leave a hand free. That is the whole design brief.
At the truck. Sling over the shoulder, bow inside, buckles snapped. The padded strap rides on the shoulder instead of a bare string digging into the neck.
On the climb. The sling keeps the bow behind the elbow so it does not swing into the sticks. If it does bump a rail, the end cap is what hits, not the cam.
At height. Two buckles release, the U opens away from the string, and the bow is in hand without lifting it out of a tube. The slicker rolls into a bundle the size of a glove and goes in the pack.
